It's interesting to read that Cesc Fabregas has only been hit with a one match ban after his sending off against Albion. The initial three match ban has been reduced by the fa.
Should have the makings of a good game Arsenal want surely to sign off at home with a win, and The Mackems need the point for survival!Originally Posted by wolves71

At least we know there's something at stake for both sides Eve, unlike the Chelsea surrender on Monday night
Six**** draws so far this season for Sunderland and one more will ensure safety.

I think if Arsenal get the first goal then they could go to town on Sunderland.
The danger for both sides so far appears to be down their respective right hand side. Bellerin has already put in two decent crosses. Billy Jones created an opening for Danny Graham in the opening minutes, but Osprina was quick off his line.
Pantilimon did well to stop Jack Wilshere who was through on goal. With his height and frame Pantilimon made himself big to deny the Arsenal midfielder.
The atmosphere is really subdued I know the Arse ain't got much riding on this but I would have expected it to be a bit more lively I suppose something happening would help!
It just sounds like a kiddies day out at a training session so far. A goal will no doubt lift the home support.Originally Posted by Evewolf65
