Wales international Jack Collison joins Latics from West Ham United.

Wigan Athletic are delighted to confirm that West Ham Uniteda??s Wales international midfielder Jack Collison has joined on loan.

The 25 year-old watched his new team mates from the stands for tonighta??s Sky Bet Championship match versus Yeovil Town having put pen to paper on the deal which will keep him at the DW Stadium until the end of the season.

He will train with the team this week and be in contention for a place in the squad to face Watford on Saturday. He is also eligible to play in the FA Cup.

Colisona??s arrival comes in the wake of Chris McCann being ruled out for the rest of the season following his fractured knee-cap, and of Roger Espinoza being sidelined for a few weeks following his hernia operation.

He joins Ryan Tunnicliffe, Martyn Waghorn, Nicky Maynard, Josh McEachran and Markus Holgersson

Seems a strategic move by the club to move him out; prior to his police assault court appearance. Give the problem to Wigan

I know Championship loan rules are different to Premier League, but never realised you could make loan signings this late into the season.

Good luck to him, though unfortunately I think that his chance with us has gone.

Collison is a not the player we thought he should be, some say its the injury others are more precise,

Taylor didn't play against Stoke i believe but was involved in our 4 match win series.
