It could just show he’s confident in his ability. If he’s happy to be no2 then I’m happy to have him. The worry is someone coming in for Lewis

Let's hope it's not that and it's just trying to avoid making the same mistake as they did with Scott Bain

Hearing that Danny suffered a serious knee injury playing for St. Mirren reserves against Dundee United the other day and is going to be out of action for several months.

He got an opportunity in StMirrens first team and chipped two goals against Spartans.
Effectively putting at risk St Mirren’s chance of qualifying
Samson on the other hand kept clean in their cup games.
He had a chance and would seem he didn’t take it.

Injuries can happen in any game, but you can’t blame the loan system or putting him out on loan for him not taking the opportunity.

So we can judge Danny Rodgers on the back of one game but yet when we judge Sam cosgrove you say he should be given a run before we judge him, bit contradictory there !!

No contradiction at all and I don’t recall posting about giving Cosgrove a run of games.
Different positions, goalkeeper being a specialised position.

He was put in for the Spartans game and if he had played well, no doubt he would have kept his place.
Goalkeeper is not a position you want to chop and change every week.

    Nice troll attempt though

TBF to Sam Cosgrove, he’s got not a bad 3rd touch.
