There's only one "United" now.
That cup match really shows that we do have a lot more passionate strength in depth than all the negative Nelly's and Doom and Gloom Gloria's give Eddie's back room team credit for.
It was wolves v lambs at the Swamp tonight and we were well deserved winner!
Bring on the Gooners!
There's only one "United" now.
There's only ever been two real Uniteds at the top. Sheffield United, who were the first and us because of the uniting of Newcastle East End and Newcastle West End.
Manure United only came about because they changed their name from Newton Heath LYR, a railway mans club I think, in 1902 and they just fancied the name United.
We remain the TOPS United.
Yes indeed, when Newton Heath were failing they used to put adverts in the Manchester news papers begging their 'Big Brother' club 'Man City' fans to come and support them to stop them going bankrupt.
The other United you didn't mention is West Ham United. I don't mind them TBH but they aren't gonna be on our level in 3-5 yrs time. Doing well right now mind!
Sorry West Ham, the Cinderella of the Uniteds, but they were another name changer, like Manure, from Thames Ironworks and not a real traditional United as us and Sheffield.

Agreed but they actually 'united' more than 1 club when they moved to the Boleyn ground.
Newton Heath didn't 'unite' with anyone when they moved to Salford to capitalise on the influx if Irish immigrants who flooded into the ghettos of inner city Salford (where I use to live as a student). They knew Manchester was blue and the went to where the fans had no allegiance.
West Ham bug me for the arrogance of the "West 'Am won the world cup" nonsense. There were more Geordies in the '66 team than Cockneys yet we are too modest to crow like this Es*** $lags!
Sheffield and Newcastle are both Saudi owned these days and the true United teams.
