And that is quite a worry. I'm okay with Ayling playing as a centre back but putting Berardi there is...brave.

I don't like Ayling at centre back because of what we lose at full back with him there. Shackelton looks ok but he isn't the same quality as Ayling yet.

That is quite true, which is why we definetly need at least one more centre back. Hell, even De Bock could have been used there and he has been sent out on loan.

Crazy playing three fullbacks and a midfielder as our defence - who are we going to have in there against Norwich this weekend?

I love Berardi for his passion - but it's unfair on the guy - came here as a right back and has only played a handfull of games in his natural position - all last season and half the season before as a left back - and now as center half...

Agree with Joel too on Ayling giving us a lot more at right back, as for Shackleton - I think he would be a useful replacement for Allioski - he see,s very direct and has pace to burn.

Don't see much in Harrison on the two occasions he's played doesn't deliver, ...yet - and should have nicked it for us last night IMO

Yes Harrison could have nicked it at the end, and probably should have, but then bpf saved us with his feet at the death.....a point was a decent result I thought.....agree that ayling is more use as a right back and provides more there....pity we didn't have ten more like him!

that lot will do for me, nobodyelse needed!
Phillips is total garbage berardi is just not good enough the macedonian alioski is worse than sacko and we know how good he is.
I would play ayling and cooper together and the young fellow that played right back needs to stay looks super.
Midfield once forshaw is right phillips shouldnt even be on the list. I was so happy that when i seen phillips taken off and said to my self finally someone that can see things. The keeper is young and raw and his positioning tells it all
Harrison looks ok and should be given games to improve and replace alioski.

Are you saying the young fellow was of no use? I must have watched the wrong game And go as far as to say he looks a lot more damaging than Ayling.

Not saying that at all, saying that ayling is more use to us as a right back than he is as a centre half.
