Everyone jumping the gun and saying "This is a good appointment" Make it last more then 5 months in charge and last longer then Clough, fix what all the other managers couldn't do and you made a good appointment.
'6 managers in two years'...not sure where you get that from. We've had McClaren, followed by Clement, followed by Pearson, followed by McClaren. Wassall doesn't really count as he was only ever a 'caretaker' and Powell certainly doesn't as he only had one match. So that's three managers (one twice) in the less than two years that Morris has been in charge or, if you prefer, since late 2013...not good I know but much better than your exaggerated version.
Wasn't talking about forums, talking about the whole majority with people jumping the gun as always when a record like ours with new managers coming in and claiming they are going to fit the bill straight away but don't make the cut. We have to be more caucious of who we appoint and make sure the person get the job done accordingly.
I would agree that whoever they appoint this time, needs to be allowed to get on with the job and given a season to sort things out at the very least..but reality is usually different.
Derby County always copying Forest.
We build a statue of Cloughy, you get a statue of Cloughy,
Forest fans invest in banners of our club's legends - your club buys you flags
We play that god awful Chelsea dagger - you now play Chelsea dagger
We get a mental owner who can't run a football club - you get a mental owner who can't run a football club.
They also copy Sheffield Wednesday's bounce
Why would we want to copy Forest..., please! Your having a laugh mate.... 😅
We've copied no one as we're the only club so far to honour clough and Taylor together, we've copied no one there.
Derby buy 2 giant screens and LED perimeter advertising boards and within weeks Faz does the same, but he did it to win over the fans and to show he had money, shame that it's turned out that you only rent them
Why would derby copy anything forest did, one basket case club in the east midlands is plenty
