    Rooney has opened up about Holmes being lazy in training, and after Hlomes' disclosure that he was engineering a move back to Huddersfield I'm glad rooney's gone public. His words intimate (or more than that) that players need to put a shift in at all times or they are out of his plans. You can see why he wanted CKR and wanted Shinnie back in having read that

    What with that and his obvious angling for a mover there when we played them....... bridges well and truly burnt IMO.

    I dont think he will be missed: for a while he seemed as if he was going to be an asset, but never really developed. We seem to have a problem with recruiting septics: Holmes, Harkes, Feilhaber and the execrable Eddie Lewis. I'm sure there are some more but they are lost in the misty memories of time
