You are also hitting the same points Auld Chippy, - and you are absolutely right to say that unless people are being entertained, they are not going to make a special effort to turn out.

Many will forgive the lack of entertainment, but few will accept a lack of effort and the Queen's Park game was a real sickener in terms of giving 100%.

When Queens click, - like they did against Dundee Utd and Ayr they are fantastic to watch, and although even the most fervent supporter wouldn't expect that kind of performance every week, the problem is that a few extra fans are persuaded to come along for the next home game, only for them to witness an at best - half hearted display. You can't blame people who have spent good money to decide not to come back.

So the players really need to understand the conundrum that faces every small football club, if they don't give of their best, then people won't come to watch them and the club suffers. They really need to put their personal issues to one side and play for the greater good.

Many people might argue only players of maturity will understand that concept, - but young Connor Murray gives 100% in every match he plays.

Well hopefully with a near full squad to choose from the Queens players will show us precisely what they are capable of and if you need an excuse to get away from the Xmas shopping get yourself along to show your support for the boys. Mon the South.

Put through the wringer to an extent around the 70th minute mark when we started to drop deep but overall a deserved victory today. On another day Sir Stephen could easily have had a hat trick but for the Arbroath keeper and they struggled with the attacking verve of both Murray and El Bakhtaoui. I thought Pybus would have been MoM even if you did not count his first have sclaff which produced the first goal. Some of Dobbie's touches and turns today were mesmerising so we can all be thankful that he has now signed up to the summer of 2021 removing the annual, at this time of the year, speculation regarding the maestros future. Now for some consistency which is all we ask!!!!

A master class of outrageous skill and superb shooting by Dobs today but unfortunately came up against keeper Gaston in inspired form.
If McCrorie leaves at the end of his loan this guy could be an option for next season.

Dobbie was superb in the second half and Queens should have been on easy street if it hadn't been for the Arbroath keeper.

My only complaint was the lack of changes by the Queens management towards the end. Dick Campbell threw on 3 subs in an effort to salvage a point (and he almost did) which would have been a travesty.

Although El Bak, Dobbs and Murray gave 100%, - a couple of changes would have given fresh legs and thrown Arbroath on the back foot.

Clearly all is well and we got the 3 points, - but surely the management team could see the danger in those last 20 minutes?

I get what you're saying Jardi, a few around me were also calling for changes to be made and one or two players looked to be tiring, the problem is the "quality" on the bench could just as easily have weakened the team rather than freshened it up.
