Last time I visited the Baseball ground was in 1980 when PNE needed 3 pts and we went down and Cardiff stayed up and yes mud in April/May (no grass)

I've been quite a few times to the baseball ground in my youth ,it was okay,but always enjoyed the trip to Stoke City and the banter with the Stoke fans ,proper thugs they were,always good for a ruck ..

I've been stuck on that pitch many times. It was an absolute sod to play on as well when it was very muddy lol
