Steve Cotterill ..... Leaves Shrewsbury Town, resignation ----------- 06 June 2023

Cotterill had covid, which put him in hospital, plus a long spell at home recovering,
it seems it took its toll on the manager.
The club parted with chief executive Brian Caldwell, with whom Cotterill worked
closely with, before this the club set up a new football board, to which neither Caldwell
& Cotterill knew about it, which could have tipped the scale in Cotterill leaving.

Seems a bizarre decision, unless there's been a fallout over next seasons budgets etc

Brammers, in the carzy world of greedy owners, they probably thought that O'Neil, who only won 10 of his 34 Premier League games in charge last season, and a 30.4% return is too dangerous a low figure to head into a new season with so much money awash and other teams having superior players.

They've obviously already lined someone up.....Big Sam anyone?

I wondered if it might be Graham Potter based on what he achieved at Brighton.
