not if you make you own journey woland.

the police cant stop 1 individual from travelling alone, you dont have to tell plod your going to the game, just turn up in the city the games in and get public transport to near the ground then walk the rest.

once came out of love street at celtic end, went to turn left behind main stand when police said you cant go that way, i said yes i can im not a football fan and live down the end of that street and want to go home.

The Sunderland fans will be escorted off the assigned buses.

I don't think strays with tickets get in.

Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that football fans are being treated like criminals.

the point is dont go on an assigned bus, dont go as a football fan, dont wear colours obviously, just go your own way, if they dont let strays in then your feked, but surely it hasnt went down that route.

football fans have been treated like criminals for a long time.

I'm assuming they have about 4 or 5,000 tickets. Are you seriously suggesting 4,000 Mackems should all go on their own?

    Let's be serious.

no ofcourse not, they wont have the brains, only the few individuals who do could get away with it, just as i did several times when a youngster.

fek waiting in long queues getting escorted like a criminal when you can hide the scarf and make your own way quicker with less fuss and crowds.

on a similar subject, was up at falkirk around 1987 when some young lassie in a car was trying to turn into a street near brockville, the police blocked her off and told her it was closed due to football traffic, she shouted "fek off i live down there, are you going to stop me" funny as fek, police didnt have a clue what to do.
