Aye sound AJ and hoping to get 9 holes in this afternoon if the weather holds...feckin rain has had the course closed for weeks.

The board is pretty pish these days so not on as often (to the delight of many!) these days.

I've no hit a baw since August. I normally blow the dust of the clubs in Feb/March but I can't stand winter greens. I've had the Wilson Di11 irons for about 3 years now and thinking of changing them. They were custom fitted for my 40th but 3 years doon the line I still don't feel comfortable with them.

As for Mook, he's actually a harmless kvnt and a wee bit

Luckily we only play on about 3 winter greens and the rest are the proper greens and no winter tees either unless its really boggin...aye its definitely a warm weather sport the older you get...I got Titleist AP2's and they are feckin brilliant...its putting that lets me doon...playing off 9 now!

It's they feckin rubber mats at every hole just now. I'm off 11 at the moment and managed to knock two shots off it last season between April and July. The boy who beat me in the quarters of the club singles went on to win it so I canny complain. And he needed 36 holes to beat me.

Always look forward to the golf season starting and I actually prefer it to fitba.

Aye I prefer the golf and a wee bit of racing to the fitba these days...only been to 6 six games this season and only one of them v Hearts was an SPFL game.

Rubber mats I canny be doing with them either and would rather not play...if I can get ma putting sorted oot I might get cut a shot or two this summer...its all in ma heid and having a few lessons with the pro over the next few months.

I lost the pairs final on the 18th when ma partner went OOB's on the last..was a bit gutted but thems the breaks in golf.
