    Well... what with the impending returns of Carroll, Reid and Collins (and of course Tomkins after he serves his ban) and hopefully the signing of another striker... I'll allow myself the unusual luxury of feeling a light tinge of mid-week optimism

    Personally I am pleased for him.
    Generally you cant fault his effort.

    Ok not the best, but then neither are we.

    At least hes getting us some important goals at the minute.

    Very pleased for Carlton.

    Hope his recent good form continues on to saturday. Would be great to see him bang in a stopage time winner against Newcastle.

    Cant remember the last time West Ham actually won a game with a injury time goal.
