    re: Stefan Johansen

Promising signs that the classy Norwegian
midfielder will complete his move to Celtic today.

The 23-year-old has undergone a medical and held talks at Celtic Park yesterday.

"I have taken the medical, maybe tomorrow it's all going to be figured out," said Johansen, who was part of the Stromsgodset side that won the Norwegian league last year. The midfielder revealed he had spoken to his compatriot Tom Rogne, the Celtic defender, about his imminent switch to Glasgow.

"I talked a little bit with Thomas because I played in the [Norway] under-21s with him," he said.

"I have heard from the national [team] guys that it's a fantastic city and the Celtic fans are unbelievable. I hope it's going to work out and I'm looking forward to it."

If this goes through is Ledley for the offski?

Exciting times for The Scottish Champions as they seek to defend their league crown and retain the Scottish Cup.

Only 6 months to the hazardous Champions League Qualifiers!

His interview on Sportsound would have sent a glass eye to sleep, but Arild Stavrum thinks he's a hard working player.

No idea how he will do for us as I have never seen him play but hes the right age 23, likes to pass the ball and is attacking forward type midifelder which is exactly what we need. Plus Norwegian player of the year.

Time will tell but for me its the most important position we have needed to buy for even more so than a striker, though we still need a striker too

In that its due to our central midfield we have played so badly this season in all areas

Maybe he'll have the same impact as Balde, ?1.8m, Pukki ?3m or Boeriggter ?3m.

Or he might be decent. Who knows?

You're off your head if you think we paid anything near 6 million fork Pukki and Derk.

    That's paper talk.

I'm off my head because I took the figures off wikipedia.

Still paid a lot of cash for average to scheidt players (but not as bad as Scheidt so look on the bright side)

    Or juarez.

Balde hasnt been given a chance yet but scores when he has been, he could still prove to be a good buy imo

Pukki is not a bad player just cant score at the moment and isnt an out and out striker imo

It will be tough for him to turn it around but if he plays as the 2nd striker he has a chance

Boeriggter I dont rate at all so far

No one will ever be as bad as Scheidt.
