A half empty Parkhead, or a sold out Easter Road?

Another great decision from the SPFL.

I was told so by someone who should know that the final was going to be played at Parkhead, anyway, it makes sense in that they can do what they are doing this weekend regarding the ground and capacity and the transport will be easier for those going by bus/car.

They'll shut the top tier which leaves 40k tickets. 25k Aberdeen, 8k Inverness and 7k for the suits. If there is demand for more they will open it a section at a time.

I can see Inverness taking more than 8k. Ross county took 15k to the Scottish cup final in 2010.
30k to Aberdeen, 12k-15k for Inverness, 6-7k for the corporate, sponsors etc.

Maybe some Celtic fans will go along to boost the attendance a wee bit like we did many years ago when the sheep played Dundee Utd in a League Cup Final at Hampden Park??

Transport to parkhead is easier than to Ibrox?
    Don't think so.

Ibrox would have been the better venue given the size of the clubs involved, and giving another venue a chance top host a national event.

Steenhive obviously enjoys the delights of Parkhead and the surrounding area.

Shutting parts of a ground should be reason enough not to hold it there Danny. Embarrassing

Transport by bus/car to Parkhead is easier from the North than going to Ibrox, perhaps you know a shortcut, anyway, as I said a couple of days back the final was always going to Be Parkhead after
