    Swansea are not a party to this process. This is a standard two-party arbitration to be decided by a tribunal of three members. The FA nominates an arbiter, WHU nominates an arbiter, and then these arbiters jointly nominate a chairman. There is usually a clause specifying that some outside organisation nominates the chairman if the other two arbiters cannot agree.

    I would guess that the chairman will probably be some academic expert in sports law.

    Apparently if they do not come to a decision by tonight they will have to call off tomorrow's game

    Not really...why would Swansea care ? Carroll being let off will make no difference to them and they have already said they feel it was harsh.

    I heard it was one from us, one from the FA and a Neutral.
