I would be willing to bet sellick fans would not be disappearing in such numbers if there was a title challenge from Rangers.
Most reasonable people are able to acknowledge this.

As for games not involving sellick, there was ment to be an uptake in numbers to cover the shortfall created by no Rangers games. In general, I don't believe that has happened.

As for more St Johnstone fans turning up yesterday, I don't think Rangers being in the league would have made any difference.

You're a good sport for answering that, bluek.

There is a ridiculous notion from the like of Chick Young that the game can only flourish with The Rangers in the top flight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I can see, this would only benefit The Rangers and Celtic.

I can't speak for fans of the rest of Scottish football, but if I could, I'd say we don't care for The Rangers making it to the top flight any more than we do Kilbirnie Ladeside.

The insular Glasgow media so often, due to the succulent lamb snow globe they live in, seem to think of The Rangers and Celtic as being Scottish Football.

"It would be good for Scottish Football" - a phrase you so often hear.

But nope, all this often means is 'it would be good for The Rangers and Celtic'.

What's been great for Scottish Football, and by that I mean actual Scottish Football, has been the demise of Rangers. Bears won't like hearing that, but it doesn't make it any less true.

Kilbirnie Ladeside would be a great addition to the league.

How has the last few years isolated in a tent near the top of Kanchenjunga been then?

Presumably even the most primitive of sherpas know that the demise of the former rangers means that no-one at any other club anywhere can be interested in going to support their team anymore?

As I said before, if they are posting that then it's b*llocks.

I don't read a lot of the Rangers related stuff on here because it's so tedious.

    I blame rangers.

    Okay, there's sense there.

So let's take Aberdeen v St Johnstone at Pittodrie. Much to my perturbation, how would The Rangers being in the top flight increase attendance for that fixture?
