Haven't seen Palace since he joined them but I'd guess this particular leopard hasn't changed his spots too much.

    Exactly this.

Would he have come out with this guff about fining his players had Stoke lost to Arsenal. No chance.

This is the same manager that ony last year claimed that play acting, dirty tricks and time wasting was a professional part of the game.[/quote]

Can't find anywhere he said that Jimmy. We all know he thinks timewasting is part of the game - it is. Everyone does it to an extent.

If you haven't seen Palace play Whisky, then you can't really comment - I have and they play some decent stuff on the whole - a completely

He did say this though Harry, after Walters pulled our player out of the wall last year.

"We have worked on it for the past three days, we tried it five or six times and Jonathan Walters has never scored from it so I'm glad he saved it for today.

All of my career I have always looked for little angles and little areas that we could exploit from set-plays and it is lovely when it comes off."

Shame he didn't fine Etherington for his dive for a penalty in the Cup game too.

Wasn't that the same game where Huth dragged one of our players down/away from the wall?

It was more the play acting bit I was on about to be honest Kirky.

Never really given much of a toss about the bloke. Think he's done a great job at Palace though - I thought they were dead and buried.

Totally agree, the whole reason why I posted the thread is because he was trying to do something about, lets hope others follow regardless of their past exploits.

Yep, fair play to him. Hopefully others will follow suit. But will he still fine his players if they dive but actually win his team a penalty or free kick?

And, as has been noted, he's still an anti-football, nonce looking c.unt.
