I was at that game, and I do not remember hearing any such chant. Perhaps you'll identify your 'source'.

As to the bananas, and monkey suits; the commentary team (including Archie Macpherson) thought it was hilarious, Macpherson even commentating that 'every greengrocer for miles around the san giro had sold out of bananas that day'. Terrific craic!!!

i find it quite repulsive how the buns can bring up the mark walters incidents when a lot of their own support are racists and bigots.

im not condoning the walters incidents, i was at the game and found it quite embarrassing, but do spare me the mock outrage buns, the chants regarding walters died down when people realized how wrong or stupid it was, did those anti catholic abuse die down quickly or did it take a few decades.

another thing is the media, they make a big thing of racism now but ignored anti cathloic sectarianism for decades.
