Nobody above has said we lost cos of the ref.

We lost because we played too much long ball in the first half with the midfield sitting to deep and leaving the strikers isolated and in the second half the players didn't do as instructed by Evans and take advantage of the extra man.

However it is also fair to say the ref got key decisions wrong at critical time. the push on thomas should have been a penalty. If that goes in its a different game - a pen might even have meant a red card.. Then there was the free kick before their goal, another push on thomas and several on revell. Not to mention the amount of dives that he never booked - and I say dives cos the way their players went down if they weren't free kicks they must be dives. Christ the idiot couldn't get his kit right in the first half.[/quote]

    Lost ! I'll swear

If you can defend the Ref today then maybe you have a problem, disgraceful.

He obviously thought he was a Walsall player, did he not know what colour their kit was?

Still we can't blame it all on the Ref, some of our players didn't turn up today, agree with with who picked MOTM, Morgan

For all Walsall's possession, they had no bite. An attractive side wouldn't have to rely on such blatant time wasting and cheating to get results. 41 goals to our 67 tells it's own story.
It's hardly surprising that much of their keeper's game was eating up time, when Neil Cutler is their goalkeeping coach. if anyone knew how to waste time, he did! The Rotherham team had to fetch the ball for him repeatedly. The bogus injury to waste time.
Instead of a sub from both side coming on at the same time the idiot ref allowed it to be done seperately, Three times their man kicked the ball over the hoardings, when the ball was already out to waste time. it took over two minutes for their man to go off when sent off and for the free to be took. I thought his second yellow was harsh, though the first was blatant tim ewasting that even this ref couldn't permit, but it was him who feigned being caught by Revs to fool the idiot ref into giving them a ref. As for their man taking an age to come off
