It was actually Scotland vs Brasil at Italia 90, more embarrassment for the forum clown

I wouldnae pay more than 50 quid unless it was a European Cup semi or final.

Off the top of my head I don't think I've ever paid over the odds for a ticket.

A£38 for a cl group game.

wouldnt pay daft money of over A£100 unless it was a one off like a world cup later stage or a cl final or uefa final.

i did pay over A£114 to see the stones in 2007, factor in flights, transfers, hotel and bevy/food it topped A£300.

Most I've paid is 133 for the France 98 Opening Ceremony, face value. Touts were wanting a grand for 30 quid tickets so as long as you're not some joker who wants the best tickets without making the effort required, it's not a problem.

I don't think I've ever paid more than the ticket price for a game.

I paid 90 pound to go to a Tom Waits concert once though.

People who pay over the odds are just perpetuating the problem.

Was down in Manchester in 1993 with a mate to see Depeche Mode so we decided to take in a game. Man Utd at home to Villa. We each paid 30 pounds for a ticket face value 14 pounds. The one and only time I've paid over face value for a ticket. I have paid more for a ticket but face value.
Got giving a ticket for Mark Walters debut game at Parkhead in 1988 for nothing as my mate had been in a car crash and I got the ticket for driving his brother to Glasgow. It was in the Rangers end. Outside the ground I sold the ticket for 50 pounds as I didn't care about the game anyway. I waited in my car until the game was over and drove home
