'Tommy Burns Tommy Burns Tommy Burns'

'They'll be there, Jim, because they're always there'

    Ah, Tommy.
enjoyed that clip Danny, cheers for posting it. Brought back great memories of that day

Are you old enough to have seen Tommy in his prime, Jimmy?

Tommy Burns was a great fitba player in his prime Danny with his only weakness being he was a wee bit one footed...but by feck what a cultured left foot he had...always a pleasure watching Tommy in a Celtic jersey as he embodied everything about our great club.

Look at the sheer joy on his face when he scored for Celtic and he was always last off the pitch to collect his winners medal as he was too busy still celebrating with the fans.
He missed the 4-2 thumping of Rangers to win the league through injury but by feck you couldn't keep Tommy Burns off the pitch that night to celebrate with the fans.

A great player, a great Celtic Man was oor Tommy Burns and he was always at Celtic Supporters Functions when others opted out.

I was there the last day of the old Rugby Park, I think Tommy Burns was Killie manager then. They beat us 1-0.

Tommy Burns was a below average player with bizarre hair.

Did the hibs boy Brian Rice ever play for Celtic? Nae sure if I'm confusing him with somebody else.

He had a cracking left peg, though too slow.
