Remember folks we went down a few seasons ago with 43 points!!!!

The manager sets the course for the season and we follow on in his wake unfortunately.

[quote="only1salty". Like it or not, we're an also ran in this league and always have been. How often are we completely safe from the drop with 10 or more games to go?

I think that would be the aim for us whoever the manager is and that's why I'm not a great lover of the Premier League. Hoping you can get 40 points every season is a bit depressing and boring. Which is why it's so painful to me that the current manager won't try to play some football, give the youth a chance and have a crack at the cups. We're not gonna finish higher than mid table without major investment, so at least give us something to smile about on other fronts![/quote]

No offence to them but they aren't in the same financial league as a lot of other clubs.

So if we were to go down, although I don't think we will...this season at least, I'd at least have the consolation that I'd enjoy next season more. And if they sacked Allardyce I'd start going again.
Are you sure? I mean really sure that you enjoyed the Chumpionship season? I'm surprised you actually enjoyed it because you seem to be someone who regards entertainment value as important.

I take your point about not look
