I enjoyed our season in the Championship more than any over the past 8 seasons. Nothing to so with Allardyce, merely the fact that we were'nt looking over our coat-tails all the time.

But because of the money, staying in the PL is the be-all and end-all. And because of the ever-increasing gap between the haves and have-nots, we will never be in a position not to look over our coat-tails with the Chuckle Brothers in charge. No offence to them but they aren't in the same financial league as a lot of other clubs.

So if we were to go down, although I don't think we will...this season at least, I'd at least have the consolation that I'd enjoy next season more. And if they sacked Allardyce I'd start going again.

Are you sure? I mean really sure that you enjoyed the Chumpionship season? I'm surprised you actually enjoyed it because you seem to be someone who regards entertainment value as important.
