They didn't take the full allocation, as Block 43 has been on sale to Saints' fans. But few teams have this season. Newcastle even failed to sell out their reduced allocation for our last home game.

Could they get a result tomorrow? I wouldn't bet against it, especially if some of our lads decide its time they were on holiday.

And here's me thinking I had hairy ones, not crystal ones.

Not sure I'm able to find any reasoned positives about today. We showed again how uncreative we can be in the final third, and how thin our squad really is. We said in the pub, as soon as it was announced Gazza would be starting, that we'd lose. We know he'll haemorrhage goals at this level, so why not give Cody a game. We know he'd do no worse than PG.

As for Guly coming on? My season ticket is priced for PL football. I don't expect to see senior players with such a blatent lack of talent getting any game time in Saints shirt, let alone a PL game. I'm probably within my rights to ask for a reduction on today's ticket price.

As I've said elsewhere, credit to Cardiff and their trav

The gridlock in the town meant I ended up driving out west and then back round to get home. Much the same as my team went far and wide to try to get around the 7, and sometimes 8, Cardiff players behind the ball. The only difference is I plotted a way out and my team couldn't plot a way through. Had we scored first that would have been a different game, we didn't and suffered a smash and grab. Perhaps we miss JRod more than we first thought?
