Also...you can't play so called 'anti footie' with players that can't play footie...you'd get dicked 10 nill. It's all subjective though.

Worth also mentioning that Chelsea had a blatant penalty that would almost certainly have been given were it not right in front of the Kop and Mignolet produced by far the best save of the match from Schurrle's shot.

Chelsea were also without Cech, Terry, Cahill, Luiz, Ramires, Eto'o, Hazard, Oscar due to injuries, suspensions and shuffling the squad for the Champs League semi.

If Mourinho wins the semi as well as the Liverpool game he's produced a masterclass in management.

not good enough to break Chelsea down, not jose's fault, who I find very entertaining when talking to the media,as well as being a great manager,as gary Neville said'' we will find out today what Liverpool are made of'',anyway its not over yet,and if we are to get a million if Liverpool win it,i hope they do,play up pompey

Maybe Mourinho took a leaf out of Big Sam's book. Only a small one mind. But that's the way to win things - be adaptable when required.

As we chess players say: " The Zugger - zugged!"

For those of you who do not understand chess-speak, "zugging" is short for "Zugzwang".

It mainly refers to a style of play popular in the early 20th century when you pinned an opponent and his pieces into a tight corner with the object that after a certain length of time ANY move he/she made would result in them making a fatal mistake and so losing the game.

If you then effected the same cramping game on another exponent of that style of play, then a Zugger would become the zugged. See: Samisch v Nimzowitsch, "The immortal game", and Steinitz v Lasker.

Mourinho is a better self publicist than beckham. His skills dont match his boasts, nor his squads ability.

Well done athletico, although to me it was so obvious.

So the genius that is Mourinho has crashed & burned in the CL & couldn't even beat Norwich because "they parked the bus".
Man is a **** & believes his own hype. Think about it with that vast sum of money & huge squad of talented players they couldn't beat Norwich.
Some of you believe all the hype, me I can see through him & I hope that if Arsenal win the cup Mr Wenger brings up the "master of losing" or whatever it was JM said about him. Chelsea with all that @ their disposal, under him this season have won nothing.

    Yep, agreed 100% Gunny.

The genius is blaming the refs, the oppostion and now his own players. It's all about him. Fell out at Real Madrid and now about to do the double fall out at Chelsea if I'm guessing right. Another season without a trophy and he and that tw@t of an asst manager will be gone.

That's another of my theories that is.

Rogers blamed everyone at Liverpool after last nights game - and moaned like hell after the Chelsea game. But it was his tactical naivety/stubborness that cost them full points against Palace and at least 1 point against Chelsea.

Makes no odds to me @ all but just confirms what I already thought. Mourinho is a tw#t & overrated.
