No and it was not my intention to suggest he suddenly had a spiritual calling to scottish football either RFC. I was merely pointing out that IMO due to the club waiting until the last minute once Rangers and Celtic were interested, he is obviously going to choose european football over Derby in the same way that john Brayford choose premiership football.

I just think that had the club signed him up earlier when he wanted the contract neither Celtic or Rangers would have been in a position to sign him and if he asked to go, at least we would of got something for him.

I'll always rememeber his goal against Manure, league cup semi first leg, amongst many others that he created or scored.
