[quote="gersforme", on that basis alone his dream should be rejected, we have very little jobs as it is and struggle with poverty with the population we have, he also supports religious schools, a thoroughly divisive thing in my opinion.

We do need more younger people. Preferably higher skilled than we have at the moment.

A highly skilled economy with enough money to support our ever growing number of pensioners rather than the race to the bottom that the UK wants to follow which involves more state support for a low wage economy. A disaster in waiting.

I agree that we should bin the catholic/Jewish/Muslim separate schooling though. Integration and social cohesion would be far better.

Aberdeen is screaming out for more people to fill the jobs we have. Engineers, Technicians, Administrators, Logistics Personnel, Accountants

Alternative Poster is right. Scotland needs more people (to pay for the large older population) and the higher paid they are and the better educated they are the better.

I'm as anti-catholic as anyone (12 years in Catholic schools will do that) but the fact remains that in general Catholic schools educate kids better in Scotland- until you fix the non-denominational schools I can't support getting rid of Catholic schools.

If we vote no, do we end up like England?

What a conundrum, why can't it just be more black or white? :/

    Typically parochial Glaswegian outlook.
Aberdeen can't fill the jobs available.
Just because all Glasgow has to offer is A£6 per hour call centres for folk, don't assume all of Scotland is like that.
