I think the point is it is the latest in a long line of scare stories coming from Better Together. The problem is if you rely on winning a referendum vote by frightening people in to voting no it will not be a healthy post referendum landscape when the reality of George Osborne's 'permanent austerity' bites. I think a lot of voters will feel duped.

There's a lot of shyte being put out by both campaigns. And I reckon the No voters are more self critical than the Yes voters.

You will probably end up becoming sick of the lies and scare****ering and vote yes

I think that is happening a lot with undecided people , the thing is it won't stop because the media can't help themselves .

Thats becoming my mindset, especially when you listen to the Labour/Tory boilers on 1st-Ministers Questions. I simply can't align myself with these strawclutching boots.

for the no campaign it is all about Alex Salmond and they refuse to have a open debate like the other night when they refused to put members of the Better Together camp to debate with the Yes Scotland in the big debate in Glasgow it was to be a joint organised event and they refused it then you are not allowed to question former primeminster and chancellor when he gives us his words of wisdom how pensions are safer with the UK ... yeah right 17 year pension holiday where workers were paying their pension dues and the money went straight to the tory and labour governments ... and when he became chancellor he raided the pension funds for A£10s of billions A£1.5 billion from the royal mail pension scheme alone ... removed tax relief, put tax on pensions with their share divedends and taxed their profits when selling shares all in the 1 go and this is why pension schemes are phucked with massive black holes ... in short both the tories and labour are guilty of state theft of our pension mo

As a Unionist, I'm even sick of the focus on Salmond. Salmond is not an independent Scotland. As much as I'm voting No, I can see that ...10 years down the line (whichever way the vote goes), Salmond won't matter.

It's nothing but sheer short-sightedness to focus the referendum on one (fat, little) man.

Nothing can dissuade me from my views on independence. Nobody can predict what the future for an independent Scotland/UK without Scotland will be like. We're better as a United Kingdom. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

I think that is a big problem with the campaigns. A lot of it is open to conjecture and it's very difficult to predict exactly what will happen in the event of a Yes vote.

I'm gutted that I can't vote. Over 700k Scots south of the border who it's going to effect but don't get a say.

    Along with 50+million other Brits.

    Where do you stay, Nevermore?

I think my wife gets a vote and she's thinking about voting Yes.
