Its easier to pick the lottery numbers than it is to guess Rosler's next line up but I tink it may be close to:
Carson
Boyce, Caldwell, Ramis
Perch, Beausejour
McArthur, Gomez, Maloney
McManaman
Fortune
I don't expect him to send a team out all guns blazing to try & get 2 or 3 goals to the good, and neither will Redknapp.
I think he'll send out a team to keep it tight & strong defensively so it'll be very similar to the Arsenal cup final line up & tactics - Fortune up front coz he is better at winning & holding up the ball when it is cleared from the back (if there was one fault with the Reading game at home the other week it was that Waghorn won absoolutely nothing when it was cleared up to him). Its also odd for Rosler to start forwards in successive games so I was surprised to see Waghorn start at the weekend & he also started him against Blackpool.
Looking at who he left out on Saturday i would say that McArthur, Gomez, Boyce, Maloney, Perch, Beausejour & McManaman are shoe ins. U

Didn't go on Saturday do can't comment on that but I just get the impression that Rosler hasn't been impressed by him since he returned from injury & he certainly won't have been impressed by his lazy defending for Blackpool's second goal the other week.
What would lean me towards Barnett getting the nod is Rosler not using him as much recently coz he intimated his injury came from being overplayed. Also Rosler has spoke today of us having players with recent big game & Wembley experience & he used Barnett for the semi.
Against Caldwell would be him having started the last 2 games. In his favour, they don't come much more experienced
shows some of you don't have a clue when roger is not starting...

you seem a sensible guywhat do you think our plan of attack/defence should be on Friday and if all goes to plan if its still in our hands Monday?
Two really cagey games??![]()

i think they will be 2 really cagey games. QPR will want to go back to their place on Monday still being in the tie. By the same token, Latics don't want to risk throwing caution to the wind & getting caught out.
The problem for me with the above line up & system is that it was ideal for the Arsenal game coz it allowed us to have bodies back to defend, someone to hold it up when it was cleared & the pace of McManaman & Maloney to run at them when they'd over-committed going forward. But it was a system set up knowing that Arsenal would have the lions share of possession.
The danger in playing the same way against QPR would be to invite em on to us & sit deep & one mistake could hand them the initiati
I hope we start with some pace up front because it could cause their back 4 some problems with clint hill and richard dunne in it
