That rings a bell too from a few years back TBH.

Either way that the equivelant of some peoples valuation of Hughes.

So back to the original question would people expect to see that or more reinvested and how? Transfrs only or transfers and wages?

I never realised that about the ticket money from the final, so I quickly looked it up.

Apparently, convention is that both sides agree that the loser gets to keep the ticket money in order to soften the financial blow of losing out.

I couldn't immediately see anywhere that told me how much that usually equates to. I would guess regular ticket sales at around A?5m, maybe just below, then corporate and Club Wembley tickets which wouldn't be included.

Not sure if Wembley take a cut or the Football League?

And then theres the sale of TV rights for both the semi's and the final, not sure how much that is worth.

Would be interesting to check up on a couple of clubs accounts who missed out and see what is listed. Anyone fancy doing that?

As for selling Bryson, I think the same applies for any of our players. This is a team who's stock has risen, they are potentially one game away from being Premier League. If someone wants Bryson or anybody else then I'm sure they'll have to pay ha

I think they would agreed - but how important is Bryson moving forward, compared to the others. How easily is he replaced ?

Not easily I guess. Although we saw against Brighton that he isn't always the be-all and end-all. No one player is (apart from George Thorne if we possibly get him, in which case I would willingly change *** and offer to have his babies).

But the point I was trying to make but didn't was that if he was to be sold, he would command a fee that would certainly help find a replacement. We wouldn't be looking for someone from league 2 for A?10 and a bag of pork scratchings, we'd probably have a decent figure to work with.

I dont think he can be easily. Like Leon Osman hes a rare gem that can play box to box and weigh in with a fair number of goals and has a hell of an engine in him. Can you another like him around at the moment?
