I think you need chocolate from both sides tbh. Our bitch was Black Tan dapple and the Dog was Black Tan but both had chocolate in their familes

Sis in law ofs an Black and Tan that throws chocolate pups so he might get an go on her. Not fussed what we get but chocolate dapples go for the most money tbf.

Our last litter had three(3) Black Tans one (1) Chocolate Dapple and one(1) chocolate.
The Chocolate was still born though. We was not expecting the two(2) Chocolates.
