Spot on yorky, but I fear all the money will be sucked into the coffers of solicitor's-barristers and any other professional leech that can get in on the act.

It will be interesting to see if they publish how the 49 mil Man-citeh were fined is being distributed to charities.

With over 160,000 registered in the U/K alone it is going to be a nightmare to sort out which are the most deserving ones.

Scientology has just legally regognised as a religion in England and Wales, so the next step is charitable status. Perhaps it'll given to them to help them play catch up?

financial fair play pretty much guarentees that only 3 clubs will ever win the premiership again, Those clubs will get richer the gap between the richer clubs and the rest will grow as they will be guaranteed champions league football every season

What's the Scottish league got to do with this debate?

As said, anyone who thinks this 'plan' is to restore 'fairness' across the board, must still believe in Father Crimbo.

It is to ensure that no more embarrassing financial failures dent the 'reputation' of the Prem leagues. And in doing so ensure only the 'elite' partake.
For me this will mean the lifeline of finance down the leagues will be 'stemmed' and thus they will more than likely just stay where they are, surviving.
This will/could mean the leagues being broken up/down over time and with it I suspect meaningless 'feeder clubs' evolving.
As for the monies being fairly distributed
Don't make me laugh, when has that ever been the case.
