Thing is we can read what we want in these situations, for example someone pointed out to me this morning that Thorne has just deleted all references to W.B.A on his twitter account?

The fact is we may have to re-build again this summer, it's a little too romantic to think some players we want will still be here next season.

If there's a clause then there's a clause. I don't know if there is one for sure but if there is then it's legal matters, and should a team for example Celtic meet this release clause, it's down to Bryson to decide his fate. The only thing Mac can do is offer him a new contract without a clause but he can't stop him from leaving.

Given his importance to the team, his 16 goals and the fact he was player of the season I would have expected the club to have already sorted this out.

As for a previous comment about him being big headed I've always considered him to be very humble and gracious as if he feels privileged to be a footballer. Shows how perceptions can be different doesn't it!

Surely Celtic's new manager will decide on his targets (their not Florist ) How can it be a done deal ? Unless Lennon turns up at WBA and still wants Bryson.
Rotherham next season 6 points in the bag.

I wouldn't be too distraught if he went, so long as we secured Thorne, I think the Hughes / Hendrick attacking mid combo is strong enough.

Do you think they could compensate for the 16 goals he scored this season ?

Bryson may go but i can categorically say that there has been no discussion with celtic as yet and given that Bryson is keen to continue a career in England a move back to Scotland is very unlikely, however there are some prem clubs sniffing around.

I'd be disappointed in Craig if he went to Celtic, other than six Champions League games a year, there is no competition and if he wants to better himself either take a move to the Prem, which the best he'll get is probably someone like Crystal Palace, Hull or Burnley, or stay here and hope he's in the Prem next season.

Anyone swapping Championship football with Derby County for tatie pie League football with Celtic, not only lack ambition but brain cells as well (unless they are a Celtic fan).

I'm pretty sure if he's not at Derby next season, then he'll be in the English Premier League.
