Pete, can I make a suggestion?

The club usually only play a snippet of the finale at our home games just as the teams are about to kick off.

This isn't long enough for supporters to learn the words or practise singing it en masse.

A simple email to the club ([email protected]) asking them to play it longer should help the cause. I would send it myself but I have made quite a few suggestions to the club of late and it might help if someone else emails with the suggestion.

I have prepared a simple draft for anyone to use or adapt:

To whom it may concern,

During the post-match Wembley singalong it finally became apparent that the 'New York, New York' tune had finally cemented itself as the Millers fans anthem.

However, in order to help new supporters at NYS and those who are unfamiliar with the lyrics, would RUFC consider playing the whole song before the match? At present only a snippet of the song is played and many supporters feel that the song would really consolidate
