Edit: there is also still a problem a****st some of our bigots if you marry someone of the 'wrong' faith. My Northern Irish mate at work married a Catholic and said that one of his reasons for not wanting to go to live backhome is the problems he would have with certain members of his family.

Also my Gran was an old bigot who basically never spoke to my cousin again because he married a Catholic. Phukkin auld eejit.

Not on the same level as killing someone but all religions (and some atheists) have their bigotry and intolerance.

EVERY Muslim would have the same attitude as your Gran if one of their family married a non-Muslim.

Easier to call a white protestant woman a bigot rather than a brown muslim though...isn't it??

In fact, to further the debate ..it sometimes feels to me that the lefties are effectively saying that we should know better cause we're white but "

I would love to see the Allah u akbar motley crew try to inflict they're usual response of violence on the people of ulster, somehow I think they know they won't be offered the same protection as they have in the rest of Europe.

Remember an interview with Michael Palin who was asked if Monty Python would ever contemplate doing a Muslim version of The Life Of Brian. He replied "No chance there are too many people out there with absolutely no sense of humour and they're all heavily armed".
