As well as the continued absence of Rangers, traditionally Scotland's biggest-supported club along with Glasgow rivals Celtic, the Premiership will be minus both Edinburgh clubs, who potentially have the third and fourth biggest supports.

The top flight will have a new city derby after Dundee won the Championship to join neighbours United, but Hamilton Academical's play-off win over Hibs means the two Edinburgh clubs will be face to face in the second tier.
fans protest in not buying season tickets but its record crowds too

It's great for Scottish fitba. Most folk think so.

This idea of being proud of the league your team is playing in is a new one though.

bluek,s just got himself a new clutch of straws to grasp onto.

hes trying to convince everyone and himself that he enjoys rangers being in the 2nd top tier league instead of the top.

i bet when rangers were dominating scottish football and there was no competition(something which actually didnt happen according to recent bun nonsense) i wonder if bluek really craved his team being in a 2nd tier promotion battle with falkirk, dunfermline or hamilton.

or was he too busy ripping the pysh out of celtic and other assorted diddy sides cos they coudnt compete in those days.

It's bollox to say the crowds will be bigger in the Championship.

    Just not true.

Made up nonsense by (usually h*ns) to make their league sound better than it is...when the reality is it's 2nd rate.

They forget that Cowdenbeath, Alloa, Livingston, Raith Rovers and whoever else are in that league, and their crowds make the top league look far superior.
