For me has to be Zidane.

Barton a few little girly kicks, shoves, waving heads and swear word. How can that compare to a full on charging head butt into someone's chest which could stop their heard and collapse their lungs easily.

    Zidane wins by a head

Interesting thing is tho people are prepared to forget such a player if they are not hounded by the press and are high profile enough or play for the right club. Rooney another example with his behaviour over the years.

Just goes to prove people like Some on here for example judge by what try hear and are told rather than judging things on merit.

Hahaha oh ratman, Barton is guilty of a lot more than your letting on... Are you forgetting the two prison sentences and various other rubs with the law? The various attacks on players around the world, gamst pederson, Aguero, ngog, to a few.

I don't really get what Zidane has to do with Barton.

I think Barton is a thug on the pitch, some of his behaviour is appalling, so is some of things he's followed it up with on social media.

That doesn't mean I look at the behaviour of others such as Zidane, Rooney etc any less or more favourably.

I judge Barton on his conduct, as I do others.

Barton is a thug on the pitch, but there are many others that don't get anywhere near the media storm he does. I always thought Nicky Butt was a thug, yet he was a darling in the eyes of some pundits.

Haven't seen enough of Zindane to comment on him.

I am just astonished as I never thought I would ever see zidane and Barton in the same sentence. I always though that even when zidane "lost it" he was in control. He could have targeted him anywhere. One was a football genius and the other a footballing anus.

So he was in control when he headbutted someone in the chest in the middle of the pitch in the worlds biggest sporting events live on TV in front of one of the biggest audiences ever ... Really...??????

Of course he was. It was a question of honour. Completely different culture. Offended his family and too be honest he should have planted it a foot higher.Unfortunately as an Italian he was already in reverse gear.
Apparently Barton was almost kicked off the plane to brazil for his "normal" behaviour
