    No sure rumnpepp,

When I went to school in the 60s I got porridge in the morning before class as did some of the other poor kids from the school. Going to school hu ngry as a young lad sometimes not even having a meal from the night before .. It was a great feeling going to school knowing I/we were going to be fed which we were thankful for and a feeling I will never forget.. Even during the summer holidays the school would lay on dinners for kids from families like mine..

If folk like us can help even for one meal how goods that..
    Regards John Buchan

    Well done buc.

It shouldn't have to happen but unfortunately the gap between rich and poor is huge in the United Kingdom.
The system is failing somewhere if a city like Aberdeen with the lowest unemployment in the country needs food banks.

Buc I would give bairns at school the best food money could buy. The best of fruit and vegetables, meat, fish whatever it takes no problem 3 times a day at the tax payers expense but the money has to come of their parents benefits giving their parents money to buy food then handing them free food is not the answer.
They're getting their giros knowing they can spend them on fags drink drugs etc and someone will give them free food.
