If it's the Dutch I fear a Final bloodbath. England v. Scotland is a kindergarten tiff compared to the rivalry between Germany and Holland.

On last night's performance any team would have beaten Brazil, but few more convincingly than that shown by the slick, professional, surgeon-like Germans. Can't take anything away from a great team performance.

Interesting fact is that the German FA works in tandem with the Bundesliga for the best interests of the national team, imagine that happening here? NEVER!!!

Not only were the Brazilians unimpressive throughout this World Cup, they were extremely fortunate to even reach the semi-final stages or even the quarter finals for that matter. Not only that, they also deployed very dubious tactics in their game against Columbia. 31 free kicks were awarded against them in this game alone. Hope that they are soundly beaten when they play again next time.

Germans were great, Brazilians were poor. Replay this game however and the score would be a lot closer. Great first 10 minutes, but after Germany's second goal the floodgates opened!

In the same way that tiki-taka isn't dead, neither is Brazilian football. Both need a re-look though.

I imagine a bit of ironic chanting of "it's just like watching Brazil" this season on some terraces!
