Where would you draw the line? If you were offered massive Kuwaiti sponsorship on the condition that the shirt was changed to green, black, red, white stripes similar to the Kuwait flag, would you be in favour?[/quote]

Come on EP, now you're being daft. How long is a piece of string? How many beans in a baked bean tin?

We are talking about a stadium renaming in line with a possible new sponsor. Big deal. We'd hardly be the first would we?

Some folks need to make their minds up. We get slagged off ridiculed and the first time something logical is brought up to generate cash, it gets scoffed for tradition. It's pathetic.

That's what I'm asking, where do people draw the line? When does tradition and heritage become more important than cash?

    No one knows do they?
    What's been suggested here?
The interview is supposed to be talking about investment/sponsorship from the Kuwait government. They like/want to promote Kuwait like Man city do.
For that return, it would obviously have something on the shirt and the stadium a change. None of that bothers me. Should they want to move the club to Middlesborough, then of course it would.
My expectations from the suggestions made, are that I'd expect a ground move in the future. Fawaz has had NFFC on live in Kuwait, building the interest. Does anyone really believe our "traditional mis matched home" is what they'd expect?
Of course this could all be idle chit chat and not worth ta

You know. Your piece of string is longer than a ground change, but shorter than a colour or club change.

I just wondered if others felt the same.

I was tweeted this earlier. Supposed to be a translated summary.
And no, I have no idea if it's correct before anyone asks.

5 more signings he wants, Joel Campbell and bolanos are 2 in talks

Was asked if he thought about buying Newcastle before us...said it never entered his mind

In talks with Kuwaiti government and they have said they will back the club

A Kuwaiti company looks likely to be new club sponsor

I'm sure the purists in Manchester wish they were still Newton Heath playing in yellow and green!

I think it's a disgrace changing the to the city you play in and changing the strip to a more aesthetic colour, presumably for commercial gain.

Basically what I am saying, is that, the decisions made in 2014, will in time become another part of our history.

The world keeps turning, even if luddites like you resist change.
