    re: our owners..

HamsterCheeks has always maintained his team "set-up" is always personnel based. Now we have the players to play an expansive attacking game.

So perhaps the owners will be less than satisfied if the same team pattern of last season, is reproduced this season.

I doubt the manager has the cerebral flexibility to ever change. Because of this,I would contemptuously dismiss asap.

Self praise is no recommendation imo.

They put money into the club, yes, and you can bet your bottom dollar they knew/know the massive rewards forthcoming when they sell us when we play in the OS.

    Business men through and through.

BUT as they are our owners and I suppose our benefactors, I support them. (at the moment)

Got to agree with Le Frog. Which in itself is quite a novel concept. But nonetheless.

WOW---They've put their own money into their own business. Hardly a novel concept is it? That's what business people do. It's called speculating to accumulate.

They saved West Ham from financial oblivion!!---No they didn't. They bought a failing business with potential. If they hadn't someone else would have.

And I did like the comment about "the ever reliable Andy Carroll".---Yeah, right.

That said credit where it's due and the owners have invested significantly in the squad this close season. But there are enough people, well one at least, on this board who do more than enough ass licking without Mr Pinard, whoever he is, sticking his tongue in.
