"I'm not totally convinced that all the hype around changing the way West Ham play really is the key element," said Allardyce.[/quote]

Captain Pugwash brazenly admits he might be "the key element" in not being able to change the way "West Ham play"

the fact hes openly criticising the changes that the owners etc want brought in re our style of play says it all really...

if hes not 100+% behind the changes then they wont work

    i see trouble ahead...

Our owners have set things up so if we fail they can lay all the blame at the foot of Allardyce.

Allardyce would imho still be very happy to be sacked and get his huge payout.

2 more years Baz, then the move and then finally new owners and manager.

He knows how to bend the truth dont he. How many of us would have excepted a lower finish, ( not relegation.) with more entertaining football. I have never ever expected more from us other than good football, never dreamed we would win the prem or champions league entry. To me its all the same if we finish 17 th or 9th as long as i enjoy the journey.

HeAs basically said that he feels if we play the way we expect of him then we will be in trouble, here comes his " I told you so."

Maybe its me, but from 10th to the bottom there isnt much of a gap, so expecting 9 th following a tenth, wheres the pressure. He got pressure for reason other than those he stated , and he knows it. Now hes out to prove us wrong.

And there it is said perfectly in very few words

The essence of what it is to be a West Ham fan.

Allardyce bangs on about his CV but it's empty! His main boast is that he's never been relegated . . . . . .whoopy f.ucking doo. . . . . .he rates his achievements by the using the lowest possible measurements.

My mate Davey has never set fire to himself but that doesn't make him a great Chef.

Sam doesn't get it, 9th, 11th, 15th???? Who gives a f.uck, the train journey home is usually a miserable affair after watching an Allardyce team. Give me attacking football and the odd cup run and I'll happily take 16th - 17th.

I'm with you I think he realises he won't get extended, so will happy to pick up a fat cheque. Talk of finishing in the top half & a cup run is an irrelevance. We will still finish much nearer in points terms to 18th than we will to 7th where there is any type of reward.

He will sacrifice cup runs as per usual. The League cup run last year was a blip

G & S should look at this and realise what a massive mistake they are making on keeping him on.He only can play football one way.

I bet the majority of them players brought in have been brought in because of Sulivan.I bet they are not his players. When the season starts it will be the same old ****e.Nolan supporting the striker.

Bring in Poyet or Hoddle NOW!
