The slope on the pitch was so steep the corner flags had to be put in by Sherpa Tensing.
Bet Bladds has gone by that ground on his trips to Ventnor.

Back from the I.O.W. today. Had a brilliant time. Some views driving along Military Road to Yarmouth.
On the boat coming back we had a loudspeaker announcement, 'Will the owner of White BMW Reg.No. ABC123, go at once to the car deck. You have left your engine running.'
Huge cheer all over the boat.
