Could of been worse. Ended up in The Blue Ball Not the best 'away' pub our local host could have suggested![/quote]

I'm never listening to that Sheffield Ram dude again. His own manor and giving us duff info. Buxton is probably still there, they will probably wanted to eat him in there..

Landlord was a complete ****.. Can you put the football on mate? No can't afford it.. Any food, might be a sandwich later!! Might be ffs.
No wonder he can't afford the Sky subscription.

The little pot boy was weird as well. Some inbreeding there.

    Angry,

Next time you go, opposite the station is a pub called the Howard which is away fan friendly. I'd go in there next season if I were you. If you're not showing colours you can mingle into some of the pubs in the town centre as well which are pretty decent. Don't try and get a drink anywhere near the ground though!

    Sorry boys:
Looks like i've let you down
Its one of the closest pubs to the ground where Derby fans meet. Not been there for a couple of seasons but I mentioned it because the trams were not running on Saturday and it was one of the safest places to go near the ground.

I was in the Ladybower next to the reservoir dam,
Only 15 minutes down to the ground from there.

Only any good if your driving though!!
Coming by train the Brewery Tap next to the station is good if you are in to real ales.

I mentioned the Brewery Tap in post 5. It is a quality place - almost worth going to Sheffield on the train just to visit it
