Lots of potential with this team IMO

Speaking from "Planet Allardyce" i'd say you have two strikers too many, one of them isn'td "Cole" and you should be hung, drawn and quartered for heresy as there's no "Nolan" in that line-up.

Certainly a bold line-up but in Sam's World this would be akin to fantasy football. There is a greater chance of Alex Salmond saying no to Scottish independence than Allardyce choosing so many attacking players.

I am also slightly non-plussed by the reference to 4 3 3. Is this an assumption of what Allardyce is currently applying? I would say it was more 4 5 1, featuring as ever a totally isolated central striker. Allardyce is totally risk adverse and never likely to change his approach.

Yeah thats really the point in playing 4 3 3 it can revert to 4 5 1 when under pressure your central striker will be isolated its the nature of the beast i'm afraid. However 4 3 3 was saturdays formation. Best choice by Allardyce IMO.
