i would say seventytwo that leeds are by some considerable distance the biggest club outside the premier league, there fanbase is huge, hence the reason they are regularly shown on sky tv.

they also have great tradition and history as well. and will appeal to a tv audience as they divide opinion constantly, they are either loved or hated, there is no imbetween with them.
Leeds is a HUGE city. A massive catchment area. And other than Hull, no other Prem club exists in Yorks. The crowds they get, bearing in mind its a one city club, in the biggest district in the UK, are actually quite poor. Id say Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd and Wolves are equally as 'big' whatever thay means.

If sky base the chosen games on quality, then its an even bigger joke. As Leeds are just an average lower div side

leeds may not be the most successful club at present.but they are the biggest club outside the premier league, by a country mile.
Roseylee! Silly me! I thought football on TV was for entertainment. It's for "BIG" clubs is it? Well all the small clubs might just as well pack it in eh?
Whilst we at it, how long in history do we have to go back for clubs who win nowt for years to still be considered as "BIG"

a ridiculous statement, wolves , derby . sheff wed, would be lucky to last 3 or 4 seasons in the premier league. their fanbase is nowhere near the size of leeds.

whatever your drinking or sniffing over there you need to get back to reality.

Yeah, you're right. Leeds are MASSIVE and we're all in awe.

Do you you want Varney back on loan?

your fault for taking varney pal, he is ****e.

unless another jack walker comes along, you wont be rattling the top of the premier league anytime soon.

My views on Varney are well known on this board. I was gutted when you lot took him off when we beat you at Ewood last season. A footballer he is not.

Oh we`re all in awe of mighty Leeds and their non-existent rich history. 1 FA Cup and 3 league titles.

the question was why are leeds on sky so much?

i gave you the answer, whether you agree is another matter. but the bottom line is no other club in the championship, will appear on sky as many times this season as leeds will. factamundo.

cos in a fortnights time they are back on yet again v birmingham.
