Thread: Letter to John Bowler.

I think it's a very good letter though I would omit the 3 "Mr Bowler" references in the text. You started with "Dear Mr Bowler" and that is sufficient. Do send it. Nothing to lose. You might even get a reply.

Some good points made in your proposed letter to Mr. Bowler, even if it contains a few grammatical errors.

I sent him an EMail recently but his reply showed little response to my points. A further Email was unanswered. I hope you do get a reply but suggest that you do not quote from it on this forum. Best of Luck

Personally to get around some of the issues raised I would concentrate on the amount of associated companies that have been set up and who owns than and what is the link to the actual club. Would want to know what assets are within the club, which company is the ground with and why this has been separated from the club.

Why when we pride ourselves on playing good football do we have the smallest budget/ground staff hence with the onset of winter struggle to keep the pitch playable. It has on past seasons meant we have had to change our tactics just because of the pitch.

Thanks for all the replies so far and of course will address any grammatical errors before I send it. Its not very hopeful if Mr Bowler either does not reply or doesn't answer the questions put and that may happen this time as well. Whether adding that it will be sent out also to the news media if the response is like that, I'm not sure? In some ways that is a threat and we would like a response first but where do fans go to?
    .
AGM's don't appear to address these things as bonehead said as he is a shareholder and so I'm afraid it could all fall on deaf ears. Graham McGarry and Peter Morse won't rock the boat and so it may all be pointless and possibly the only way as we know as thousands have done already and that is to vote with your feet and your wallet. I'm not even sure that bothers them too much either.

At least IF the club does read all these forums and fans have a go at the Directors after the matches, the penny will start to drop.

Most people seem in favour of sending thi

Rant or not, Mr Bowler will get the strength of folks' feelings from the first three paragraphs. The rest could just turn him off and make him move onto his next e-mail. Keep it brief and you'll pack a stronger punch.

Thanks for taking the time to express what many of us feel.

Way too long - I can't be arsed reading it.
It'll go straight in the bin without being read.

If needs to be short, to the point and not a rant.

OK, in that case, you write a short and to the point one here which shouldn't take too long and we can have a look at it and maybe send both to Mr Bowler?

Just to add that its possible there are fifth columnists on here. For those that don't know what that is, its people that are not who you think they are posting here and will try and obstruct this letter or its contents going off!

    Nos mind!

I think its whom, not who?

If I was going to write to him I wouldn't post it on here...

However, if I did I'd ask what I asked on the other thread -
"We have an academy that apparently costs £500k a year to run but brings in considerably more than that in transfer fees.
Given those facts you'd think that we'd be at a financial advantage to other similarly sized and positioned clubs.

    So why aren't we?"
