That's a relief then, I'd expect Inverness to beat them, like the ten other SPFL would if they were to play them. Only we would roll over and lose to that pathetic shower.

Inverness absolutely cuffed them at Ibrox the round after we lost to them before - I've not seen that much of Rangers this season but from results there seems little reason to expect anything other than a repeat.

At the minute it's hard to see us beating anyone in any circumstances so there's little excitement for the draw...but the game is a month away, a lot can happen by then.

    Hibs or Livi please.

Interesting that Rangers seeded if they defeat ICT - nice little perk for them.

At this moment any of those teams would fancy us. Given our recent form and our record in recent cup competition.

Nothing surprises me really with the running of scottish football but not sure if this is fair as normally the top 8 teams left in are seeded at this stage on last years league tables so as you say if rangers win they should not have been seeded but are surely fairest thing to do would have been to play game next week then have draw but he ho its not like the old firm to gain an advantage in scotland is it

Good draw for us, happy with that.

There's a chance to progress alongside some potentially favourable results elsewhere.

However, completely irrelevant if we don't get the finger out - if the game was played tomorrow, there would be only one side worth backing to win.

    Full draw:

    Dundee Utd v Dundee

    Ross County v Hibernian
    Kilmarnock v St Johnstone
    Aberdeen v Livingston
    Partick Thistle v St Mirren
    Celtic v Hearts
    Hamilton v Motherwell

Fair comment. If the game was tomorrow I'd be very pessimistic but a month may make all the difference.

Accies at home a few days later as well. That'll add some spice to the tie although Accies won't require firing up.
