    Fit pouge said..

It's always going to be hard for Scottish clubs in Europe..

Tbh pouge it may have been better if yer directors helped the manager to take in a few quality players had they done that you would have been in the group stages..
    Just my opinion.

Aye Buc and its getting harder for Scottish Clubs in Europe every year as the standard abroad is getting even better.

As for Celtic the appointment of Ronny was a huge gamble and the policy of bringing all these loan players in baffles me...young McGregor bar Van Dijk and Lustig was the best Celtic player on the pitch last night.

DD calls all the big shots at Celtic and given that he was not going to back Neil it was no surprise to me that he hasn't backed Ronny.

At least it avoids watching Celtic taking a few hammerings as a pot 4 side in The Champions League...The Europa League will be difficult enough for this current Celtic side and management.

Aye Buc Gordon did ok last night but he has a bad habit of making routine saves look spectacular and off parrying the ball straight back in to the six yard box...still not totally convinced about him but he has big gloves to fill from Fraser Forster.

Probably the only silver lining in Celtic's very black cloud this morning. And great for Scotland

Humiliated by little Maribor (remember how they laughed when we got beat by them)
Credit where it's due though, they beat a Kazakh team 3-2 with a dodgy last minute penalty.

    Aye Fortress Parkhead eh.

And fortress Celtic, a team feared and respected the length and breadth of er, Iceland, Finland and Kazakhstan
Quite a startling bundle of facts and kinda proves how cheap we have become at trying tae do things the wrong way.

    Aye,
But you have got in a very good cheap goalie in place of Forster.. There's no dought a few years back he was the best in Scotland.. Well I thought so anyway.

I wish Aberdeen had signed him.

Their goalkeeper played well - so it could have been a real hammering

Gordon certainly pulled off a couple of decent saves that I saw. Not sure that the Maribor keeper had a shot to save tbh though i confess I didn't see all of the game. I nearly said high-lights but it was awful to watch imho
