    Saw them come into Bournemouth airport one at a time on Wednesday and Saw them yesterday and today , staying just outside Bournemouth airport until Sunday ,so will be seeing them again sat and Sunday as well plus all the other planes. Came right over campsite and in formation really low on their way to Bournemouth..

    There is a fellow who wing walks ,he is 94 years old

    You should of said, alf, we could of had an famous bourd meet. We were anboot have an hour late for the wing walker bloke which I would of liked to of seen tbf.

    I'm back now but were staying in Winton which has some lovely houses.

    An Lancaster and two (2) Spitfires just flew over at an RIDICULOUSLY low level.

    It were geet today an Vulcan flew over t'camp site and gave us a wing wave.. Then the red arrows came over and gave us a geet viewing..saw the Lancaster and two spitfires as well .. A geet day all round with cracking wether ..

    DOUBLE COOL AS PHOOK.

    We was supposed to have two Lancasters fly uverhead today heading to the Gedling show but only one flew over,its was Thumper...

    For some reason giving it a ruined the sight of this mighty plane from WW2 flying overhead as it reminded me of Thomas the tank engine and friends...

    Normally it'd be one (1) off of each but the shape off of the wings, the canopy and the nose cone shape would suggest that this was indeed two (2) Spitfires. I'd of been just as pleased to see a Hurricane though tbf. It's just an shame the Canadian Lanc had been grounded as I may of had the privilege off of seeing two (2) Lancs which would of been an dream come true.

    This was nearly as cool as the time an P-51 Mustang* buzzed my house at aboot 200 (two centuries) feet an few years ago.



    * the best fighter off of WW2 imo.
